Memories- part 11When Klara, Malone, and Conner had come back, they had chilling news. The Leviathan was coming in a month's time and that stage was indeed to hang someone. Conner had barely managed to wheedle this information from the German workers, but somehow to managed to pull it off. Klara had brought them new clothes because what they had on currently where bloodstained and dirty.

Memories- part 10It was pitch black when they slipped through the town Conner and Malone were staying. The two had guided them with much argument even though they were talking about the same place. It wasn't an especially grand place but Alek thought it looked comfortable.
"Is there a back way in?" whispered Klara.

Memories- part 8Over the next few weeks, both Deryn and Alek had attempted to become friends with Spektor but he had snapped at them and even bite them on occasion. On the other hand, he listened to Bauer as though it were Klara giving him the order. Klara and Bauer had become closer which made Alek want to tease him constantly but he restrained himself. Deryn had dutifully taken her medications as her wound was slowly healing. Alek's own injuries were swiftly becoming mere scars. He only kept gauze on his broken wrist now.
"So we have to get to Tokyo, right?" asked Deryn. Bauer rubbed his now smooth jawline.

"It's better then overdosing," he replied cooly. "These are toxic if you take too much and since I don't know how many you really take, I figure this is safest."

Rolling her eyes, she downed the pills.
"Whatever you say, Dr. Alek," she snickered. Alek fumed.
