Okay, some things in Goliath just PEEVED ME. Don't get me wrong, it was AWESOME! I LOVED IT! But it was a wee bit disappointed. There was no epilogue, NO ONE died. Nothing made me cry except for when I FINALLY got it. I wanted someone to die (even if it was one of my favorite characters) as long as they went out with a BANG! But that was only Tesla.
It said Bauer, Hoffman, and Klopp stayed in America but did they ever get married? Have any kids? Make it back to Austria after the war? What about Newkirk? What happened to him afterward? THERE WAS NO VARLOW WHICH MADE ME SO ANGRY!! What happened to Dr. Barlow and Volger after they went their separate way, though? And Alek and Deryn! They most likely got married, as Alek renounced the throne but did they have any kids? What did they do with the Zoological Society? And even Lilit and the Kizler Agha! What did they do? When did they got back to Istanbul? Even Eddie Malone and that Rogers lady!
WHAT HAPPENED WITH ALL THE CHARACTERS?! There was no damned epilogue! That was the main thing. But there were some minor things. It was kind of all over the place. It usually wouldn't bother me but Behemoth was almost completely in Istanbul and Leviathan was mostly in Switzerland. But here, it was Siberia then Japan, San Fran, Mexico, and finally New York. Mexico had to be one of my favorite parts. lolololol POOR DERYN. Also, from chapter 10 on, like 6 other people found out her secret. It was totally falling apart. It almost seemed like Scott was in a rush to finish the book. THE PICTURES WERE AMAZING.
But now I'm really sad. I have nothing to look forward to. I can only move on in my boring rut. Nothing more exciting and anticipation. And since I read Leviathan, nothing is good anymore. </3 I have a huge fine on, my library card so I can't check out books. Geez, just thinking about it, I want to cry. *lol gay*
But one fun thing that my library-funness-organizing group is putting together fun Halloween things and a *drumroll* FAN-FICTION CONTEST!! All my idea, and we've already got some poeple wanting to go for it! At the end, WE ARE GOING TO COSPLAY!! I'm going to be Dr. Barlow but I have no idea where to find a Victorian dress or a bowler hat.
Help anyone?

Well, kind of anyway.
And is it just me or was anyone else flipping through the pages searching for an image of Deryn's surprise attack?!
I totally agree with you on all points and I have one more angry [oint to add to that... THERE WAS NO BIG ROMANCE BETWEEN ALEK AND DERYN!!! That made me even more angry than you with Varlowe because I waited 8 months for this last book, I've written countless of fanfics on it and here comes scott-la promoting the fact that they love each other JUST THE WAY THEY ARE!!! I mean wouldn't it not hurt to put in a kittle bit more kissing and fondling???? NO! is the answer to that but somehow Scott-la didn't think of that factor and just put in 2 measly kissing scenes in.
And it would help a lot with that epilogue (although the ending was very well made with the "and they lived happily ever after" variation) but not good enough with that cliff-hanger "now make the ending however you want it". I really hate those kind of endings! I mean at least clue us in what they're doing 20 years from now (and hopefully live up to the lovely romance Alek and Deryn would have then)!!!
Sorry for the rant but I really needed to get some stuff out...
